eToronto Animals was founded by Dee Gauthier and Christian Paré to provide financial support to animal rescue groups in and around the Toronto area.

The need was recognized through Dee’s years of work as a foster parent and volunteer for private animal rescue groups. She has for many years taken in and supported these animals and nurtured them so that they may be adopted and returned to loving homes and families.

These rescue groups do not have a shelter, but rely on a system of volunteers who provide their own homes, time, and finances to assist and help homeless and abused animals.

These rescue groups usually run on a financial deficit due the animals needing care and veterinary services, as they rely on low adoption fees and small fundraiser to help fund this cause. More often than not, foster volunteers use their own money to provide food, care and medical assistance for these animals.

eToronto and EMC2 salon help provide support through fundraising efforts and providing awareness to the public about the valiant effort, time, and love these groups employ to save these animals.
